Enjoy a truffle tasting experience at home!

Truffles found on our farm are the result of hard work, passion and our overall philosophy of excellence.

All our products are a true testament to this, and one we are truly proud of. The recipes displayed today are a result of people asking for more recipes on how to cook with fresh Black Perigord Truffle and Truffle Hill products in their home, for friends and family more often.

Luckily we have an amazing collective of cooks and foodies to call on showcase an array of recipes that can help even the most novice home cook prepare an exquisite snack or meal.

The essentials for a great roast beef sandwich are thinly shaved rare roast beef, a good sourdough bread (like Sonoma miche), a creamy mayonnaise-based sauce and some heat. Horseradish is often used as the spicy component with roast beef, but in this recipe we’ve opted for truffle-infused Dijon mustard to create a sandwich to remember! Why not add a glass of Truffle Hill Pemberton Merlot to round it off nicely?

  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • ¼ cup whole-egg mayonnaise
  • 1½ tablespoons Truffle Hill Truffle Mustard
  • 200g rare roast beef, thinly shaved
  • Salt flakes, to taste
  • ½ cup watercress sprigs
  • Cornichons, for serving

Lightly toast the bread on one side – or leave it fresh if you prefer.

Combine mayonnaise and Truffle Hill Truffle Mustard and spread on the untoasted side.

Top with beef and sprinkle with salt.

Add watercress and serve with cornichons.
