Tommy Truffle
A smoky, earthy twist on the classic Tommy’s Margarita. Made with truffle oil–washed mezcal, fresh lime, and agave, this cocktail delivers a luxurious depth of flavour. Finished with a rim of truffle salt for that extra savoury hit.
INGREDIENTS
- 60ml truffle oil–washed mezcal (directions to make below)
- 30ml fresh lime juice
- 15ml agave syrup
- Truffle salt (for rimming)
METHOD
- Rim your glass with truffle salt and set aside.
- Add truffle-washed mezcal, lime juice, and agave syrup into a cocktail shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker is frosty.
- Strain into your prepared glass and serve immediately.
To make truffle oil–washed mezcal:
- Mix 1 part truffle oil with 10 parts mezcal in a sealed jar.
- Sit the jar in a warm water bath for 2 hours, then freeze overnight.
- Once the oil solidifies, strain the mezcal through a coffee filter.
- Store chilled.
